My name is Ellorm Ofori and I met Yemisi through Bible study. Once a month, I couldn’t wait to see her beautiful smile and the loud yell of my name, Ellorm! when she saw me. Her smile was so big and beautiful that even a blind man could see and feel the warmth of her smile. She gave the best hugs, wrapping her arms all over your body. I’m going to miss her cooking for Bible studies. She made the best mac and cheese. She was so excited when I texted her pics of my fiancé and said I finally found a man. When I first met Yemisi I thought to myself wow such a beauty. She is probably going to be a mean girl. But, to my surprise she was kind, helpful, an angel sent from heaven. She always came to Bible study with food to feed us all. Yemisi if I knew the last Bible study we had would be your last, I would have held you tighter and never let you go. Rest In Peace, until we meet again, Ellorm Ofori.

Words cannot express my sincere condolences to Edi and Yemisi’s entire family. I will never forget the first day Yemisi walked into Bible study, she had such a warm and friendly sweet spirit. Ellorm and I were talking on our ride back after meeting her, so impressed by her beautiful spirit and was so thrilled Edi had met such a beautiful person. I will never forget her amazing Mac and cheese (the best I’ve ever had) and the warm hugs she gave everyone. Rest In Perfect peace Yemisi, you will never be forgotten 🏿

Nana.

I will always remember Yemisi as being a fiery, ambitious, confident woman. A real "go-getter. Life truly is too short
